Geocache Description:

Welcome to Ketchthor's fourth group of caches. This series follows the Skeleton Creek Bike Trail through Skeleton Waterholes Creek.

The creek originates near Mount Cottrell and passes through rural land before hitting the suburbs of Tarneit, Truganina, Hoppers Crossing, Altona Meadows and Point Cook before it flows into Port Phillip Bay. The creek fauna includes diverse bird species along with native rats and abundant frogs. All caches placed along this trail are off the land being conserved by the government.

The names for the caches in the series appropriately take on a horror theme but the area is anything but. The trail is great for walking, cycling and observing Melbourne's vast array of wildlife.

This cache is a 500ml screw top container. It may not be possible to continue walking on this side of the creek. If this is the case, head back to #5 and cross the road.
