Cette série de caches va vous emmener sur les traces des soldats de la « Grande Guerre »,notamment des Autraliens qui ont péri nombreux dans ce village,

Cette balade fait environ 7 kms mais peut être scindée en 2 parties...

Le premier engagement d'envergure des troupes australiennes eut lieu à Pozières en 1916

Les églises étaient souvent détruites car elles étaient un repère idéal pour le réglage des tirs d'artillerie adverses

En 2009 le fils d'un soldat australien Walter Henri Belbin (3rd Field Company Engineers) a restituté 90 ans aprés un crucifix trouvé par son père dans les ruines de l'église
