It has been said that the weeping cypress trees that line the lake are more than meets the eye. While you are looking at the trees and taking in the beauty that they are, they are taking you in. They see you! They don't move while you are looking, but, when you glance away, they move...the branches, the leaves, the moss...they move. They close in around you, and if you don't look, they will completely engulf you, shading out all light, and life. They will wrap around you, making you part of the them, giving them life, to patiently wait for another to come along.
While you are signing the log, keep an eye on the branches around you. They will close in around you, taking away any chance you have of making it safely back to the open waters and away from the dangers that are their branches.
