How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Many locals drive past this spot every day but have probably never stopped to have a look at it and read the plaques. If they did they'd discover a little bit of hidden (in plain sight) history in Wahroonga. Calypso62 and I both had the brainwave to hide a cache here some time ago so this is a cooperative effort.
Without going into too much detail to discourage armchair solvers and to encourage visits there won't be much more description here. You need to visit the posted coords (where the cache isn't) and answer the following questions to get the coordinates for GZ which isn't a long way away.
The cache is located at S33 42.ABC E151 07.XYZ so you need to solve the missing digits.
A = number of letters in the town mentioned.
B = the last digit of the year on the bottom line.
C = number of letters in the name of the message sender MINUS the number of letters in the town mentioned in the speech.
X = number of times the number 2 appears in the final line.
Y = (bulls PLUS lions PLUS column notches) DIVIDED by 3.
Z = number of letters in the first name of the first esquire (which is the same as the number of letters in the surname of the second esquire).
Head to GZ. A bit of stealth required at busy times.
