Raufoss sin gamle stadion ble åpnet i 1918, men etter 2008-sesongen så oppfylte ikke lengre den gamle stadion de strenge kravene som fotballstadioner må ha i dag. Løsningen ble å flytte innendørs til nylig etablerte Hydrohallen (deretter flere andre sponsornavn og også kalt Raufoss storhall).
Planen har vel alltid vært og få laget ut igjen i frisk luft, men det skulle altså gå mange år før planene om en ny fotballstadion på Raufoss ble satt i kraft.
17. juli 2015 kunne imidlertid Raufoss IL fotball ønske velkommen til storstilt åpning av sin nye stadion, som har blitt etablert på Persveløkka rett vis a vis storhallen. Motstander var Sprint/Jeløy
Her har det blitt etablert sittetribuner (500 sitteplasser) på østre langside, mens det er påbegynt gravearbeid for sittetribuner også på vestre langside.
Cachen er en mikrocache med magnet, og lokasjonen er helt bak mål (!)
GC inneholder kun en mikro logg"bok", så her må du ha med egen blyant/penn. Pass opp for mugglers, og påse at GC festet igjen mest mulig "usynlig" for folk flest.

Raufoss football club's old stadium was opened in 1918, but after the 2008 season it no longer fulfilled the stadium requirements such as football stadiums must have today. The solution was to move indoors to the newly established indoor football hall (The Hydro Hall, then several other sponsor names and also called "Raufoss storhall").
The plan has always been there to get Raufoss Football back outside, but it was not until 2015 the club was able to move outside to a new stadium.
On 17th. of July 2015 Raufoss IL football had a grand opening of its new stadium, which has been established on Persveløkka right across the indoor hall.
It has been established a seating tribune (500 seats) on the eastern long side, while it has begun excavation work for a new seating tribune also on the western long side.
ABOUT THE CACHE:
The cache is a micro cache with magnet, and the location is behind the goal!
GC contains only a micro log"book", so you need to bring your own pencil / pen.
Beware of Muggles, and ensure that GC attached "invisible" to ordinary people (as invisible as it could).
