Kitsune

Au Japon, le terme kitsune (狐?, renard) désigne aussi bien un renard qu'un être du folklore. Dans ce dernier cas, le kitsune est un esprit surnaturel (yōkai) animal polymorphe, tout comme le tanuki (狸?, chien viverrin). Le kitsune a souvent été associé à Inari, une divinité shintoïste, comme étant son messager.
