## Geocache Description:

Have moved the cache from original position due to comments about the litter! So spoiler pics are irrelevant.

Original box had been muggled and vandalized! So have swapped it for a 35mm film canister.

On the Lon Las Menai cycle track.

A nice and easy drive by. You are here for the spectacular views not a spectacular cache! Enjoy! Pob lwc!

As the name suggests this cache has been placed near the site of the northen train station at Caernarfon.

Although the Welsh spelling of the town is Caernarfon, some railway companies showed disregard for rendering Welsh names accurately, and the original form of the stations name was Carnarvon, later ajusted to Caernarvon.

Caernarfon station was on the Menai Bridge - Afon Wen line, and was first opened for passengers services on 1 July 1852.

It finaly closed and the line lifted in 1972.  It remained derelict until the late 1970's when the station was demolished.  In the late 1990s a supermarket was built on the station site.

If you decide to pick up Cadwaladr you will need to post a Welsh word beginning with the last letter of the previous word posted.

The first word is GWASTRAFF...(remember to look up the Welsh alphabet)

Pob lwc

Llongyfarchiadau/ Congrats to Wendy2000 for FTF (9/12/15)
