Oh boy...this story may be a long one!
I used to cache by myself, that is, until I met up with a few local cachers and we decided to get together and cache on a semi-regular basis. So R. A. D. D, hokeygar, Michel-Angelo, Bellauch and I were out caching in the never ending Winter of 2014/15 and while bashing around in the snowy trails of Cumberland Forest we decided we needed a group "name". Somehow we settled on the Misfit Mob...I will let you decide which character represents which cacher :)
I am a member of a Facebook Group called "You Might be a Geocacher if" and a few weeks back a lady posted this really cute picture of cache containers she had found in the Christmas section at Target. I made a comment on the photos and she was EXTREMELY kind enough to mail me 2 sets of these Rudolph the Reindeer finger puppets from the United States.
Although these finger puppets are not the actual Misfit Toys portrayed in the Rudolph the Reindeer Christmas special they ARE all characters from the show and remind me of it.
So here we are...Christmas 2015, a year after meeting the Misfits, some of the kindest and most patient cachers out there. This is a tribute to them, may 2016 bring them all plenty of health, happiness and great caches.
