Geocache Description:



"100 Famous Japanese Mountains" (日本百名山 Nihon Hyaku-meizan) is a book composed in 1964 by mountaineer and author Kyūya Fukada.The book caused a mountaineering boom in Japan.

Fukada died in March 1971 near the summit of Mount Kayagadake (1704 m) in Yamanashi prefecture of cerebrovascular disease. ”Fukada festival" which commemorated his achievements is held in April every year.


ONNA-IWA"Female rock" this mountaineering route is the only water place. But now,there is danger of fall and no-go area.
A slope becomes steep from here, take a rest?
