Geocache Description:

K&K Black & White

en This viewpoint offers a magnificent view of two beaches : Playa de Las Teresitas (white beach) and Playa de Las Gaviotas (black beach).

The Playa de Las Teresitas is a very popular beach in Tenerife. On top of the original black sand of volcanic origin, white sand from Sahara desert was placed in 1973. An approximately 1000 m long breakwater protects against erosion.

The Playa de Las Gaviotas is a small black sandy naturist beach. The beach itself is beautiful. Here are mainly locals.

Please pay attention to your valuables and that your car is locked.
