A little less than a year has passed since the start of the Harlingen Geo-Quest so we have added a few more caches starting December 21st. We also have moved some of the containers that have been subject to Muggle tampering. If you are new to the Quest make sure to check our website http://www.myharlingen.us/page/parksandrec.geocachinghome and if you are coming back, thank you and feel free to earn a second coin by finding the new and transplanted caches.
The Harlingen Arts and Heritage Museum is a one of a kind museum in the Rio Grande Valley. The museum has three historical buildings on the ground: the original home of the Lon C. Hill, Harlingen's town founder; the Paso Real Stagecoach Inn, and Harlingen's first hospital. The main museum building was formerly the Air Police Squadraon and Brig of the Harlingen Air Force Base. This building houses the permanent collection of Harlingen and Texas historical objects and photos. They also have rotating arts and cultural exhibits.
To find the cooridinates for this cache one will need to do some research. Find the answers to these questions by going through the exhibits on the grounds. Once you collect them all, you are ready to find this cache hidden in plain sight.
