The stage parking lot is across the street from the cache. If there is a show in production, there may be crew or teamsters around, but they're not likely to interfere with your search. If you're lucky you might catch a glimpse of a star, so use some stealth.
Broadway Stages is comprised of more than 25 stages mostly in Greenpoint, but now spreading out. This facility in Glendale consists of 5 stages plus space for catering, offices, set construction, storage, etc. Some of the shows shot here are, Billions, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, The Get Down, Blacklist Redemption, Civil(pilot), The Tick, Detective Chinatown 2, Dietland, Get Christie Love(pilot), The Torture Report, Erase(pilot), Godfather of Harlem, The Loudest Voice, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and For Life.
These buildings used to be warehouses and a scrap fabric processing facility. After being vacant for several years, this property was purchased in November of 2014 and the space was converted to production use.
On the corner of Cooper Ave & 83rd St., are a row of stores that are part of the complex. They used to be a hair salon in the 70's for the show The Get Down, then an Urmanian Deli for The Tick. There used to be some 70's cars parked in front of the stores too.
