An Introduction to Geocaching Class!!! Mark your calendars, the class will be held on Saturday, May 07th, 2016. New to geocaching? Join us to learn a little bit more than you already know. This is event will be held in two parts...
1:00 - 2:30 PM - Introduction To Geocaching Class
This event is to introduce the fun, high-thrill, hobby of Geocaching to the community. Current, Active geocachers are encouraged to attend to share their stories and help out.
2:30 - 4:00 PM - Geocaching Meet & Greet Potluck Picnic
This portion of the event is open to all geocachers whether you have one geocaching find or a hundred please feel free to come out and join us for a picnic. I'll be supplying hotdogs and buns. Attendees are asked to please bring something to share...whether a side dish, meat or dessert. Please bring your own drink.'
Please, please, PLEASE try to RSVP (Will Attend) at least two days prior to the event and state how many folks will be coming and what you'll be bringing. Please watchlist this page and keep an eye on the responses so as to help you decide what to bring. We wouldn't want thirty bags of potato chips and no cupcakes...right?!?
There is a covered pavilion, picnic tables, playground, bathrooms and plenty of parking available. You might want to bring chairs if you'd prefer to be a bit more comfortable.

Why YOU, of course...whether you have one cache find or a thousand cache finds, please feel free to come join us for a gecaching class followed by a small meet and greet/picnic.

Why:
To learn about geocaching, trade travel bugs and geocoins and share yummy food and fun. Those who wish to may also do some geocaching before or after the event.
Extra things to keep in mind:
- If you pick up a Travel Bug or trackable coin at one of the events, make sure you log it out so it doesn't show up in the events list. If a trackable sits as being listed in the event for a couple of months, the cache owner is the one that gets the e-mail from the TB owner(s).
- Each person attending will be responsible expected to bring a dish to share as well as supply their own drinks.
