Geocache Description:

Buckland Newton

The 472nd in a series of caches where a red telephone box
is in close proximity to a post box

Buckland Newton is a village in Dorset, located between Sherborne, 9 miles to the north, and the county town of Dorchester, 10 miles to the south. The name derives from Old English bocland 'charter land', for example land in which certain rights and privileges were granted by charter. The relatively recent addition of Newton is from Sturminster Newton, because at one time the Hundreds of Sturminster and Buckland were combined.

This Fine Pair is in the older original part of the village, just along the road from the public house.

This is a traditional cache hidden at the given co-ordinates
