Bring your binoculars and/or a camera--this is a beautiful overlook of Lake Candlewood.
This cache is located on a new trail system recently donated to the New Fairfield Land Trust. There is a small (2 to 3 car) parking spot at the trailhead at
Lat: 41 27.94N, Long: 73 27.81W, just past the mailboxes on WoodCreek Road. You will see the small yellow Land Trust diamond marks on the trees. Don't be put off by the No Trespassing sign just to the right of the parking.
Nice hike up a well marked trail, about a 5 to 10 minute walk depending on your vigor.
Among other treasures, there are some trash bags in the cache--if you see litter on the trail, use them to help keep the area clean. "Cache In--Trash Out!"
