”Store” and ”Lille Hareskov” are neighbouring forests NW of Copenhagen.
”Store” means big/major, and ”Lille” means little/minor. The landscape was formed during the latest ice age. These forests have never been farmland. This does not mean that this is Nature, but it is forest Culture.
You should approach from a southern or western direction. The car parks at either end of the ”Faegyde” will be excellent starting points. Don’t cross the rails, don’t approach from NE.
The stash is hidden in a rotting tree stump.
In principle it is easy to find, - but it is located in a forest, and you know what that does to the GPS-signals! The UTM zone 33 (WGS84) co-ordinates are 336495E, 6183769N.
The container is a (semi) transparent plastic box. Please observe the internal measures of 16.5 cm x 16.5 cm x 6.5 cm – you’ll have to bring minor replacement items.
Contents:
- First and foremost a “First Finder’s Certificate”, nicely framed and signed by the cache founder. The first finder must take and keep this certificate!
- “Magnetic Memo Holders” manufactured of porcine material. They have been produced long before the recent outbreak of the Foot and Mouth disease, so they are not contagious.
- A simple Puzzle, which may be an introduction to the world of Polyominoes.
- An organic Necklace, almost antique, made of shells of bivalves.
- An emergency tooth brush.
- And the standards: The Log-book and a tin of Kippers. Please sign the log-book, - and please remove the kippers.
May the co-ordinates be with you!
