Geocache Description:

This cache was set to help teach church community members about geocaching. It is part of a series, set with permission by the faith communities at each location.

This location was previously the home of St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church. In September 2015, the people of this parish amalgamated with St Richard’s Anglican Church, to form the new Julian of Norwich Anglican Church community. Some interesting features at this site include a prayer labyrinth (round brick “patio”) and an outdoor altar, which are intended to be enjoyed by all. If you enter the prayer labyrinth in the right place, you can follow a maze of colored bricks that leads to the center, and then back out again. This walk can be a very peaceful way to meditate or pray.
