How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Do not try to go to the posted coordinates that are on the Space Center, you are likely to be detained and it's not necessary.
|I've been watching this cache for about 4 years, waiting for it to be archived so I could make it mine. I just wish I could be as clever as JasonNthaJungle who came up with this originally. He has quit caching and the container went missing a while back. The moment it was archived I immediately hung a container and submitted a replacement. Here's roughly his original description:
I stumbled upon this site on Google maps and wondered if it lead to a secret extraterrestrial meeting spot or their underground bunker, but to my surprise it lead to a geocache!
The arrow points the way. The cache is not at the posted coordinates and not on government property. Do not go try to go to the posted coordinates, they are only a point of reference.
|Though the original was an ordinary cache, rule changes at GC.com have made a two stage puzzle necessary. But, if you can solve the puzzle the second stage is very easy to find.
The first stage is on the west side of the street.
You don't have to tread on the Private Property to do this cache.
If you're new to multi-caches the coordinates to the second stage will look something like this example:
When you arrive at the first stage (where the arrow takes you), replace the last three digits of both north and west with the ones you find there. You can see them from your car. Doing this creates the coordinates for the second and final stage.
The second and final stage (the cache itself) is less than 500 feet from the first stage.
