GCCVA17 est la troisième édition des Concours Geocaching dans la vallée d'Abondance. Pour ce concours qui se déroulera au cours de l'été en total 13 Géocaches ont été placés dans toutes la vallée: à Abondance, à La Chapelle-d'Abondance et à Chatel. Le concours se compose de 10 caches traditionnels réguliers (type Nichoirs), 1 cache Nano traditionnel, 1 multiple régulier et 1 mystère régulier (Bonus). L'objectif est de trouver ces caches pendant cet été. Bien sûr, les caches resteront actives après le concours: tous les caches sont placés le long des sentiers pour faire de la randonnée ou du vélo en été et de ski (randonnée) ou de tour raquettes en hiver (voir carte). Outre deux événements seront organisés: une réunion de mi-été en fin de juillet et un événement final en octobre (dates exactes et lieux à annoncer).

[EN] This geocache has been placed for the 2017 edition of the Geocaching Concours in Valdabondance (GCCVA17). The cache is a birdhouse with laser cut front and a small box with log book inside. The box may contain small items. GCCVA17 is the third edition of the Geocaching Concours in the Valley of Abondance. For this concours which will run over Summer 13 Geocaches have been placed throughout the Valley: In Abondance, in La Chapelle-d'Abondance and in Chatel. The concours consist of 10 regular traditional caches (type Birdhouse), 1 Nano traditional cache, 1 regular multi and 1 regular Mystery (Bonus). The objectieve is to find these caches during this Summer. Of course the caches will remain active after the concours: all caches are placed along trails for hiking or biking in Summer and (tour)skiing or raquettes in Winter (see map). Besides two events 'll be organized: a mid-summer meeting end of July and a final event in October (exact dates and locations to be announced).
