MUGGLE ALERT! Although this area seems quiet, muggles tend to sneak up on you quite easily. The cache isn't too far off the trail so any muggle will be suspicious of your activity. If possible post a lookout to make sure you're not seen!
If you're lucky enough to find it, PLEASE make sure to place the cache back in it's original position.
Riverview Farm Park Visitor Center (located at the end of City Farm Road) to the shore of the Warwick River provides a beautiful setting for a leisurely walk. The Visitor Center is currently available (by reservation) throughout the week for groups requesting special interpretive programs.
When you arrive at the parking area you may notice one of the buildings has a tower. This area was once the Newport News Police Department's firing range. The tower was the overwatch.
Park in the parking lot and take a stroll back to find the cache. Whether you find it or not, take time to continue walking another 100 yards to the pier and take in the view.
