HSMS Stop # 3: I’ll up-do ya if you bouquet me! Traditional Geocache

Slayer (My husband Adam) and I (Sublime AKA Joey) were kicking around the idea of creating a series. When spit-balling ideas Slayer suggested a series showcasing the zany way we got together. So we created this series to allow others to follow the adventure of our love story.

This is a highlight of the particular events that brought us together.

The series has matching themed “camo”. Not what you would expect for the wild, but it is wild.

This is how SlayerMeetsSublime Stop # 3:  I’ll up-do ya if you bouquet me!

J-O-N would introduce I (Sublime) (Sublime) to his girlfriend Becky.  Becky was a Tasmanian devil of lovely!  Beautiful inside and out.  Curly bouncing red hair that matched her precocious personality.  So sweet and SOOO much fun!  A total goof.  You can’t sit with her for more then a moment before you fall in love with her aura.

She was a hair dresser and I (Sublime) needed a haircut.

This career would be the way that Becky would come to have Slayer (Slayer) visit her weekly.  They had been the same year in high school, known of each other, but didn’t quite run in the same circle.

Becky being the flittering social butterfly she is would talk Slayer up a storm each time he came in to the salon to delivery flowers.

Beckys boss and Slayers boss had a deal.  They swamped flowers for hair-dos.  So each week Slayer would bring in a delivery of flowers for the stations in the salon.

One faithful Friday Becky asked Slayer if he had a girlfriend.  He didn’t and she had the perfect girl for him!  Her name was Leslie.

Becky came home that night and told me (we were roommates at the time) that she was going to introduce Slayer to Leslie.  I moaned about how she never introduced ME to anybody!  And I was her BFF.  WTH, right!?

Becky spent a few weeks asking Slayer about himself.  Soon she came to the conclusion that Leslie wouldn’t be compatible for Slayer.  But that we had quite a few things in common.

So this is how it was planned that SlayerMeetsSublime.
