Welcome to the Pennsylvania State Game Lands. There are over 1.492,861 acres to explore in this beautiful state. This series is simply to get you out and enjoy short leisure hikes in seven separate SGLs.
SGL 166 consists of 10,441 acres. One of the largest SGL in Blair County. I like the pine tree sections here! Enjoy a estimated 1 mile round trip hike from listed parking. NO Bushwhacking involved. A enjoyable hike along a SGL road. See hint if you need a spoiler.
There are seven traditional geocaches placed and one mystery type cache as the final. Traditionals are small camo tape covered cylinder shaped containers. Roughly 6 inches tall and 3 inches diameter. BYOP! Final mystery cache is a 50 cal ammo can.
The poker game is Seven Card Stud! Find all seven traditionals and record the card that is in each. You will then enter your "Winning Hand"(only five of the cards) into a Certitude Checker which can be found with all details on the GameLands PokerRun Final page. GC
