Gather up family and friends to tour the Olympic Peninsula on an old-fashioned road trip! To start your adventure and find out about Washington's latest GeoTour, mark your calendar for Saturday, September 24, 2016!
The event location is the Clallam County Fairgrounds, 1608 West 16th Street, in Port Angeles, WA. Plan to stop in bright and early, from 7:30 - 9:00 am for coffee and light refreshments, pick up your registration packets, sign the event logbook and find out about the new GeoTour caches, which will go live during the event. If you're just starting out in geocaching, there will be some friendly folks on hand to help get you started with the basics to send you on your way.
After you're charged up and ready to go, you're invited to head out to find 30 new GeoTour caches in great spots. Starting from the event location in Port Angeles, choose your route, which will take you to all corners of the northern Olympic Peninsula and south along the coast to Lake Quinault area. A whimsical trackable geocoin can be yours for completing the tour, along with an unforgettable experience of seeing some of the most beautiful country in Washington!
