Geocache Description:

Cape Fear Museum Park, located in downtown Wilmington, is open daily from dawn to dusk and admission is always free. Visitors to the Cape Fear Museum Park can engage with hands-on exhibits, explore gardens featuring native and adaptive plants, learn about historic objects and images, and enjoy special educational activities.  

This geocache is one of 12 caches in the New Hanover County Parks & Gardens Geo-Challenge.  All 12 caches are small, light brown/green, plastic containers.  This challenge and prize was created for children, but all ages are welcome to participate.

To complete the challenge:

  1. Print a Geo-Challenge passport from our website
  2. Locate all 12 caches
  3. Stamp your passport with the stamper in each cache
  4. Take your completed passport to the Parks Office to receive your prize
