Maia, my third grand-daughter aka 4in1minion, has autism, but, one day, just after having rushed her mum to hospital, she came back to my house and told me to get help for my 87 year old father who was on the floor following a stroke. Rather than panicing, or falling apart as I expected, she stayed calm and whenever I or the paramedics asked for help she jumped up to the task. Not only did she surprise me, she impressed the paramedics and her parents.
