Geocache Description:

This geocache is located at Rosebrook, which was first settled by Phillip Rose in 1848, along side the 'brook' we know as the McKenzie River.

We acknowledge the courage, endurance, initiative, wit and optimism of our pioneer men and women who worked extremely hard and faced many challenges - and we honour their efforts to build better lives ... and our nation.

The geocache is a regular, 500 ml container.  It is a quick, easy access find along a scenic drive to the Grampians in Western Victoria.

There is ample parking close to the cache on the fire trail, which is adjacent to the road. Do not stop on the road, as it is not safe to do so and there is no need to!.

You do not need to go through fences or open gates to reach this cache.
