Geocache Description:

Langer See, Felker Langer See, maď. Hosszú-tó, Felkai Hosszú-tó) leží v kotlinke Velickej doline medzi masívom Gerlachovského štítu a Guľatým kopcom blízko ústia Krčmárovho žľabu, z ktorého padajú do plesa kamene a preto sa neustále zmenšuje.

Podľa meraní pracovníkov TANAPu má hĺbku 5 m a rozlohu 0,63 ha.

Okolo plesa vedie turistický chodník po zelenej zelená turistická značka turistickej značke zo Sliezskeho domu na Poľský hrebeň.[3]

Tarn stands for Tatras (or the Low Tatras ) lake of glacial origin. In Poland they are called Staw , but this basically means any lake.

Dlhé pleso in Velicka valley (pol. Długi Staw Wielicki, ger. Langer See, Felker Langer See, hunmaď. Hosszú-tó, Felkai Hosszú-tó) is located in the basin called Velicka dolina between the massifs of Gerlach peak and Gulati hill near the mouth Krcmarov drain, where stones fall into the tarn, which is causing its shrinking.

His name comes from its shape. It is also known as Dlhé pleso in Velicka valley, because there exists more than one Dlhe pleso. It is the same as Velické Dlhe pleso (in POL Wiki) and Dlhé pleso under Gerlach peak. His altitude is 1 929 m n. m. According to measurements of TANAP's workers, it is 5m deep and has an area of 0,63 ha.

You can also visit the place, if you follow the green tourist route green tourist route from Sliezsky dom to Polsky hreben.[3]
