Zvu Vás na krátkou procházku do míst, kde kdysi stával pravděpodobně dřevěný objekt na žulovém skalním bloku, plnící nejspíše strážní a kontrolní funkci pro zemskou stezku z Raabsu do Jindřichova Hradce. Informace jsou kusé, dochovalo se pouze několik záznamů v dobových kronikách. Podle archeologických nálezů byla lokalita datována do 15. století. Potřebu zajištění bezpečnosti potvrzuje i zápis v popravčí knize pánů z Rožmberka z roku 1409, která zmiňuje úkryt lapků v nedaleké vesnici Sedlo. Ještě v 19. století bylo popisováno schodiště vysekané do skály, s příchodem na vrcholovou plošinu. I to se bohužel nedochovalo.
Vydejme se tedy ze souřadnic doporučeného bodu parkování zpět do minulosti, najít hrad Beistein.

I would like to invite you for a short walk to the place where the wooden building stood on a granite rock block, probably having guard and control function for the provincial route from Raabs to Jindřichův Hradec. Information is incomplete, only a few records had survived in chronicles. According to archaeological findings, the area is dated to the 15th century. The function of the building to ensure the safety is also confirmed in the book of Lords of Rosenberg from 1409. In the book is mentioned that bandits were hiding in a nearby village Sedlo. It was said that staircase carved into the rock, heading on the summit plateau, was still presented in the 19th century. Unfortunately it is not preserved.

Ich möchte Sie für einen kurzen Spaziergang an den Ort zu laden, wo das Gebäude aus Holz auf einem Granitfelsen Block stand, wahrscheinlich Wach- und Kontrollfunktion für die Provinzialstraße von Raabs nach Jindřichův Hradec. Informationen sind unvollständig, nur wenige Aufzeichnungen hat in Chroniken überlebt. Nach Archäologie Erkenntnisse vorliegen, wird das Gebiet bis ins 15. Jahrhundert datiert.
