Geocache Description:

About 100 years ago WWI was happening, the Brooklyn neighborhood of Ridgewood was filling up with newly built houses and buildings, and the sons of recent immigrants were going "over there."

Ridgewood, Queens (once Brooklyn) is now and was then a place that attracts many newcomers to New York City. This location captures a moment in local and world history at the busy crossroads of two streets with a "y" in their names. There are lots of Muggles around, including ones who hang out for hours in the same spot every day. Use stealth! This cache has already been muggled once

PLEASE: leave the area to sign log book, if possible. TOO MANY MUGGLES ABOUT.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT INSIDE THE MONUMENT GATE
