There is a row of post-and-wire fencing across the mound beside the new trees.
It was erected to stop the contractors running their machines into the pylons or overhead cables and electrocuting themselves and served as a guide during tree-planting.
Now that work is finished the fence can go
It should lift out quite easily as it was never concreted in. However there is barbed wire stretched between so it will need care
Once more our efforts will be supervised by the ranger, Felicity, who will supply the tools needed but your own strong gloves could be useful.
All normal Health and Safety rules will apply.
Dogs are welcome but need to be kept under the control of their owner. I wouldn't recommend this event for children because of the barbed wire but that is for their parents to decide.
