Geocache Description:

Mule Hill Trail Series

The Mule Hill Trail is part of the San Dieguito River Park that will someday link Del Mar to Volcan Mountain, over 70 miles of trails. See SDRP.org for more information.

You can walk, bike or even ride your horse to find these caches.

Round trip from cache #1 to #6 is approximately 3.70 miles of relatively easy hiking. It does get warm on the trail in the summer, so bring water, and sun protection. The trail is very popular on week-ends, so be stealthful when going for the caches. All the hides are accessible from the trail or just a couple of feet from the trail, there is no need to bushwhack or to disturb the native plants.

While hiking the trail be sure to read all the signs, lots of interesting information.

We highly recommend starting with #1 because this is the staging area for the trail.

The trail closes at dusk.

These caches have been approved by SDRP
