Geocache Description:

Question 1 : Combien de strates comptez-vous ?

Question 2 : De quand date le socle ancien ?

Question 3 : Quels sédiments trouve t-on datant de - 120000 ans à - 80000 ans ?

Envoyez-moi vos réponses via le centre de messagerie, loguez "found it" .

A sediment is a collection of particles suspended in water, atmosphere or ice and which has eventually settled under gravity, often in successive layers or strata. A sediment is characterized by its nature (physicochemical composition), its origin, its granulometry, the species it contains and its possible toxicity ... The consolidation of the sediments is at the origin of the formation of the rocky sedimentary layers. You are in front of a sediment wall, look at the difference between the ground and the top of the wall but also the surrounding environment. Question 1: How many strata do you have? Then go to the information panel (WP1) to answer the following questions Question 2: When was the old base? Question 3: Which sediments are found dating from - 120,000 years to - 80,000 years ago ? Question 4: The upper stratum composed of fine silt dates from - 5000 years but does this period correspond to an ice age or a temperate period? Send me your answers via the message center, log in "found it". I will contact you in case of worries As an option, a picture of you or your GPS would be welcome.
