WHAT and WHY: Amos Waites is a beautiful little Etobicoke park on the shore of lake Ontario, with a few pockets of naturalized areas, a boardwalk, a playground and a swimming pool. The City crews come by regularly to clean up the park; however, quite a bit of garbage ends up in the lake by the boardwalk, and that does not get picked up by the municipal crews. So bring rubber boots, and let's make this little gem along the lake a little more beautiful. If you'd rather not go into the water, don't worry, there is plenty of CITO-ing that can be accomplished on land.
