Wizard of Ooze: I think everyone who attended has probably logged this by now, so I'm going to archive it to remove it from active status. If you attended but haven't logged it yet, you still can, even though it's archived!

Geocache Description:

As Signal continues to celebrate geocaching around the world, our favorite frog will be visiting Canada to cache like a Canadian and celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary. As part of the celebration, you can earn the Canada Day 2017 souvenir by attending an event on Saturday, July 1 or Sunday, July 2, 2017. We’re excited to join Canadians in celebrating their birthday this July, and we hope you’ll join us!

If you're planning to be in Long Beach for the 4th of July festivities, you can add a souvenir to your profile by attending this event on Sunday morning, July 2, from 8:30 - 10:00 am at the picnic shelter for the Bolstad Street beach approach -- look for the big Canadian flag! There will be some light refreshments, a chance to meet other cachers visiting the area, and a game to test your knowledge of Canadian trivia with some cool prizes!

There are still a few trackable coins available from the 2016 Cache Dash Splash coin challenge -- if you'd like to claim one of your own, you can pick up a copy of the passport you'll need to stamp your cache finds at the event, then head to the Long Beach Visitor Center after you've found all the cache to redeem your completed passport for a coin of your own!
