Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the Monroe County Forever Green Geocaching Challenge's HJP Region..

Look for the clues inside these 3 caches: The Old Mill at Sciota; Conklin Park; Tannersville Cranberry Bog Weiss Tract, to determine the coordinates for the HJP Region Mystery Bonus Cache!

The Tannersville Cranberry Bog is a National Natural Landmark as the southern-most low-altitude boreal conifer swamp on the Eastern Seaboard. The Weiss Tract was a critical link in the future protection of the Bog. The public is allowed to enjoy the upland areas and trails at any time, and the upland portion of the Weiss Tract adjoins one of these trail areas. Please remember, The Nature Conservancy does not allow unaccompanied visits to the bog itself, but does offer guided tours. Please ensure the ecological integrity of the Bog by only hiking on the upland areas of the preserve.

Don't forget your prize for completing all of the caches in this region! And if you're the FTF (First To Find) don't forget your Monroe County Rocks rock!
