onecrazycanadian: Hi,

The low health score on this cache has remained below 60 since my last contact. I see no sign of any maintenance being done to correct this and I have had no response from the owner since my last contact. Due to the lack of response I have no idea if any corrective action has been taken or if the owner has confirmed the cache is still in place. Consequently I am archiving the cache at this time. If the owner does happen to complete the maintenance required and wish to activate the cache again just let me know and I will consider unarchiving it once the issue is resolved.

The town of Forget owes its name to Amédée-Emmanuel Forget, a Francophone who was the first Lieutenant Governor of the Province of Saskatchewan.

The first settlers arrived in the region around 1892. Because this settlement area was managed by Abbé Jean-Isidore Gaire, it was natural for several French, Belgian, and French Canadian families to settle there.

The post office was established in 1897 and the Fathers of Salette built the first church in 1899. By 1920, Forget was one of the most flourishing villages in the region.

Today, the community of Forget has about hundred of residents who are warm in spirit and proud of their local industry.
