Geocache Description:

MS Zenobia was a Swedish RO-RO ferry that capsized and sank on her maiden voyage in June 1980. She now rests on her port side in approximately 42 meters of water less than 2km from Mackenzie Beach in Larnaca. It is consistently ranked as one of the top ten wreck diving sites in the world.

The cache is located at the bottom of a mooring line, at a depth of 22m. You must be PADI Advanced Open Water qualified (or equivalent) to attempt this cache and you should always dive with a buddy.

At the co-ordinates you will find two white cartons floating on the surface, marking the foreline of the ship. The cache is a black pipe attached to the bottom of the thick old barnacle encrusted mooring line at 22m. The thinner lines are for the 5m trapeze where you will may do your safety stop.

There is crayon in the cache but bring your own pencil too. Please take care not to let the lid or the crayon float away!

Please note that any photologs where the logbook has not been signed will be deleted without notice.

Many thanks to the team at Dive-In Larnaca for maintaining this cache.
