Geocache Description:

Groundspeak is celebrating International Geocaching Day on 19th August 2017.

Here in South Africa, and more specifically on the East Rand, we should celebrate with them.

2017 will be the 8th year of International Geocaching Days.
The event will take place as follows:
  • Venue:  The Harvard Cafe, Bonaero Park
  • Date:  Saturday 19 August 2017
  • Time:  13h00 - 14h00 (or until the last one leaves).

Plenty of free parking!

All personal expenses for your own account!

The venue is kiddie friendly and has a play area for the little ones.  There is an extensive menu to suit all pockets and I am assured that the beverages are ice cold

Please log your WA log timeously so the appropriate number of tables can be booked.

Groundspeak is producing a special souvenir for International Geocaching Day, and this souvenir will be given to all who find a cache or attend an event on this day.

This event is open to all geocachers and their families, no matter how long you have been caching.  A special invitation is extended to all newbies and also to visiting out of town geocachers.
