A one hour long teatime geocaching event near Lostwithiel Station to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Sidetracked Series.

This event belongs to the SideTracked series. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can attend too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website.


SideTracked Day 2017


SideTracked Day is celebrated on the 10th of August every year - the anniversary of the first SideTracked cache.
This year is particularly special as it marks the 10th anniversary of that first cache being placed!

We will meet at the riverside picnic benches near the station (picnic optional) between 18:00 and 19:00 on Thursday 10th August 2017

I know that there is not currently a SideTracked cache at Lostwithiel, but that may change on 10th August!

If you are thinking about coming to this event, please post a Will Attend log, as if changes need to be made, I will make an announcement on this page and you will receive notification of the changes.

Profile Souvenir


To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the SideTracked Series, on 10th August 2017, the series organisers will be publishing a unique souvenir that you will be able to add to your geocaching.com profile page.

What the souvenir will look like is still under wraps, but details of the previous years' souvenirs can be found at the following link, and this year's souvenir will be added to the page when it is released (including instructions how to add it to your profile).

I am hoping to have a very small number of these very special SideTracked 10th Anniversary Geocoins available at this event, although I know that their stock is running very low. Please post in your Will Attend log if you would like to buy one and I will add more details here if I get any.
