How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A Plaque with a latitute/longitude that is not a benchmark

All you have to do is find a permanently mounted plaque that contains the latitude and longitude of its location (or the UTM coordinates,) that is not a benchmark.

As always:

  • Most include photo with GPS that shows the coordinates on the object
  • One entry per plaque
  • One entry per cacher
  • See the first log entry for an example.

Last week of locationless caches special! Beginning on Christmas day (and no sooner!) and ending at midnight PDT December 31, 2005, if you had previously found this cache you may log a second find on it, on the condition the second find is an original, previously unlogged find. This is my way of saying thank you to the people who have logged this cache.

The fine print: All the other logging restrictions as listed in the description apply. Offer only open to those with logged finds on this cache prior to Dec. 25, 2005. No logs after Dec. 31 allowed regardless of find date. Tax and delivery charges not included. Offer not available on Mars. If itching or swelling persists, stop bushwhacking through poison oak.
