Trinity College Dublin is a core part of any visit to Dublin - be sure to experience the abrupt change in atmosphere as you walk through the grand arched entrance and swap the buzz and hubbub of the city for the tranquility of spacious college “quads” - squares surrounded by buildings which have housed academic thought and discussion for over four centuries. Depending on the time of year, most of the people around you are likely to be tourists too but, just like any university, you’ll probably spot students sitting on the grass or rushing to their lectures.

In common with the two other ancient universities of the British Isles, Oxford and Cambridge, Trinity College Dublin is a central part of its city in a way that more modern universities, usually located further out into the suburbs, are not. When it was founded in 1592, Trinity was originally planned to be just one part of a collegiate university, the University of Dublin, but it remained the only part. This often causes confusion, as the university is almost always referred to as Trinity College Dublin but its graduates receive their degrees from The University of Dublin, which sounds alarmingly close to University College Dublin, a large 1960’s university 7km out into the southern suburbs, largely consisting of ugly concrete bunkers or, even, Dublin City University, a 1980’s vocational university 6km up into the northern suburbs. Trinity graduates, therefore, go to great lengths to explain the difference and emphasis that they received a world-class education.

Your task:
You should be standing near the campanile, a bell tower dating from 1853, and one of Trinity's most iconic landmarks.
You need to find the door shown below and take a picture of yourself in front of it holding something Irish. Use your imagination, and there is no need to show your face if you don't want to. The door is located less than 100m from where you stand.

Please Note:
