The largest crater lake in Europe 26

 The largest crater lake in Europe, we are in Kärnänsalmi. This is the only road to Kärnä's island; another option is to land by water from Lappajärvi. There are fishing competitions here and there is a juice station next to the bridge.

 This cache replaces the previous cache in Pentiniemi, from which I had to move. Before Kärnänsalmi, the road turns to Pentiniemi, which has a small boat dock and beach and a beautiful green area maintained by the municipality. You can depart there perhaps for a cookie or else just to admire the view of the lake. Remember to follow the traffic rules!

 Southern Ostrobothnia is a whitefish. You can get it from Lappajärvi when you have the luck and the right tools.

Euroopan suurin kraatterijärvi 26

 Euroopan suurin kraatterijärvi kierroksella olemme Kärnänsalmella. Tämä on ainoa tie Kärnän saareen; toinen vaihtoehto on rantautua vesitse Lappajärveltä. Täällä järjestetään kalastuskilpailuja, ja sillan vieressä on myös mehuasema.

 Tämä kätkö korvaa aiemman Pentiniemessä olleen kätkön, josta sen jouduin siirtämään. Ennen Kärnänsalmea kääntyy tie Pentiniemeen, jossa on pieni venelaituri ja uimaranta sekä kunnan ylläpitämä kaunis viheralue. Voit poiketa siellä ehkä evästelemässä tai muuten vaan ihastelemassa järvinäkymää. Muista noudattaa liikennesääntöjä!

 Etelä-Pohjanmaan maakuntakala on siika. Sitä saa Lappajärvestä, kun kalaonnea sattuu olemaan ja oikeat vehkeet.
