La raquette à claquette

La raquette à claquette is one of the best-known and well-loved groups in Saskatchewan's Francophone community.

The group, from Regina, was created in 1995. Its mission was to bring back the traditional songs of Western Canadian Francophone songwriters and composers. Their style is a blend of Bluegrass, country, gypsy and other traditional sounds.

In addition to their two albums, released in 2000 and 2006, the group has made many tours across the country to showcase the wealth of Prairie Francophone folklore.
