Wepham Shortie Part II - Lane
The cache is a 3 inch Round Pot
A short series of four caches that can be incorporated with my Wepham Shortie and other nearby hides
I've been walking these footpaths for over 30 years and have always referred to this area as Wepham Woods. When time is tight or the weather turns I often take this short loop which returns over the hill just South of the estate house. As one passes the summit there are fantastic views over the Worthing area and the sea. Please note on certain days the nearby firing range could be taking place so sudden very loud 'bangs' may be heard.
These woods are beautiful at any time of year, but in my view at their very best in the springtime with the advent of the bluebell season
At certain times GPS operation may be erratic hence more helpful hint. The lane here has the odd vehicle pass by so please be aware
