Coordinates are for the Parking Lot. This is a multi-legged find.
You will find clues that will give you the digits of the cache's
final resting place.
1. Park in the outfield near the published coordinates. From
here you will need to find several clues.
Solve for digits A, B, C & D as follows:
A=Earliest time you can park here (hour).
B=The number of swings in the nearby playground minus the
number of trees in or near deep right field.
C=One half of the first two digits of the Metro Bus
Route number that stops nearby. The 107 used to stop here.
Use 5.
D=The Seattle Municipal Code is a three-part number. The
last digit of the first number for the No Tresspassing when park is
closed code is D.
2. Walk or drive to these coordinates: 47 30.512 N 122 14.885
W.
Here you will find a trail head. I suggest driving.
(Note: if you do walk here, proceed as if you were driving by going
left on 68th. This will keep the neighbors happy.)
3. Proceed on foot to: 47 30.181 N 122 14.774 W
Here you will look up and see some power lines, etc. Count the
number of wires, then add 2. This is the letter E.
4. Proceed to: 47 30.191 N 122 14.799 W
Here there is a handrail, across the path from a large tree. Count
the number of vertical posts holding this particular rail. This is
the digit F.
5. Locate the cache at:
47 3B.FCB N
122 1A.DBE W
The cache is physically a wide-mouthed plastic Mozzerella Cheese
jar. Since it is not too big, don't plan on leaving anything very
large. When you put it back, please insure that it is right-side
up.
Note: Local community volunteers spend countless hours
maintaining and restoring this park. Please stay on the trails.
Cache is somewhat near the trail, so if you find yourself stomping
thru brush, you are not close. Tree cover may hinder your signal a
bit.
Note: The travel bug
Sleepless 'till Seattle is attempting to find its way back home
to this cache. If you see it here, please leave it. Thanks.
