This cache is located in Asheldham, Essex.
Asheldham means 'Aeschild's (a feminine personal name) village (hām)'.
The cache is not at the posted coordinates, however you will find the village sign here if you want to take a picture. Parking is available opposite the sign in the field entrance. The final location is away from the village centre due to a build up of caches in that area. At the final location, parking is available opposite the cache. A lot of agricultural traffic moves down here. So be aware of your surroundings... we don't want anybody getting run over by a tractor!
To find the cache you must do a little bit of research:
The population of Asheldham in 2011 was D4C
The population of Asheldham in 2001 was 1F0
A Ham class minesweeper launched in September 1BA3 was named after the hamlet.

If anybody would like to expand the Village Sign Series, please do. I would ask that you let Smokeypugs know first at www.villagesignseries.co.uk so they can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
