Did you know that it’s summer time in Australia? Well, Signal the Frog® does, and he’s packed his flip flops, a snorkel, and many bottles of amphibian-proof sunscreen, and he is headed for Australia! So come join us and rid yourselves of the winter doldrums while you partake in exchange of GeoCaching War Stories, trade trackables, and exchange PathTags (although I can't offer you a BBQ!) BTW: costs incurred are the responsibility of the individual) because I don't have very deep pockets.
Signal continues to celebrate geocaching around the world. Visiting the Southern hemisphere for Australia Day 2018, our favorite frog is planning to join in on the festivities and barbecue like an Aussie would do! Celebrate Australia Day by coming up (Australia would be down) and having a cuppa java with us as we swap those travel bugs, tell those GeoCaching stories and just enjoy the early evening.
You can take part of the celebration by attending this event on Saturday 27 January 2018 and earn the Australia Day 2018 souvenir!
I thought I'd organize a perfect start to the day ... , But that's been changed due to a conflict with another event in the morning. So this event will now start at 6:30 PM and end somewhere around 8:00 PM At 8:00 PM, you might have an opportunity to catch an FTF, as I plan to open a GeoCache walking trail between Abingdon and Bel Air... And, if you come early enough, you can grab some dinner too! I'm sure we'll be there longer than the stipulated 90 minutes (eating and chatting), but we must give an event end time.
We'll be close enough to I-95, that cachers (and non-cachers alike) from north, south, east, and west, and travelers as well, can join us for a evening of camaraderie. There will be some drawings, and maybe even a cache or two or three or four...
