It's time for the Friday Lunch Club! - This time in North Liberty!

It is time for the Friday Lunch Club to meet in North Liberty, at a quaint little place that has some super food! Please note this place is primarily chicken and fish so if you are not interested in that food you may want eat elsewhere. For those who are interested in trying something new this food is wonderful home style cooking!

Carol “Sweetiepie” Cater-Simmons and her new restaurant SUGAPEACH Chicken & Fish Fry.  Sound familiar?  That is because it is the best of Cedar Rapids based Sweetiepie’s Chicken and Fish Fry in Historic Oakhill-Jackson and Iowa Soul Food Market from Newbo City Market.  Why the name change…because Carol wants the name to be synonymous with Iowa.  SUGAPEACH will put a smile on the face of passionate fried chicken and fish connoisseurs. They also have non-fried options that you will enjoy just as much. Offering soul food and Southern style cuisine the whole family will love.

You order when you walk in and we will all try and get tables together.

I will be there at this time (or a little after), the log sheet will be there at this time.

Everyone is welcome to stop in, you do not need to purchase anything to log a visit to this event but you must sign the log to get credit for this event.

If I am late I will contact someone to start a log sheet for me in case someone needs to get back to work.

Please indicate how many people are coming so I can reserve a large enough table.

In the event of bad weather I will post a cancellation note on this page by 9:00 am.
