Buckette and DocRoss continue to hike, cycle and geocache around the world. Time and again they travel to some very interesting and exotic places. It's entertaining listening to them talk about their exploits to places like Peru, New Zealand, Vietnam, Tanzania, Hungary and Sweden. They even have found a cache in Vatican City!

In recent times they have focused more on cycling trips. Their current cycling goal is to cycle 50 miles in each state which is nearing completion. At a recent event I had a chance to talk with Buckette about caching and traveling. I asked her what she will do once the 50 state challenge is completed and without missing a beat she said, "Fifty miles in different countries!" DocRoss soon joined us and when asked about this new challenge he confirmed the goal saying that they already have 50 miles in Vietnam, Thailand, France, United Kingdom, Spain and Italy. Also, he mentioned that cycling is a great way to find caches.

When I asked what trips they had in the future, Buckette said the next time they plan to go to Athens, Greece; north to Zagreb, Croatia and over to Sofia, Bulgaria. DocRoss quickly added that he wanted to cycle in Riga, Latvia then travel out to Yakutsk, Russia and back west to Oral, Kazakhstan. When I asked why Yakutsk, DocRoss replied that once upon a time he enjoyed the Parker Brother's game Risk and wanted to visit ever since he saw Yakutsk on the game board.

This challenge of 50 miles in different countries sounds very daunting to me. I hope they have the time to pursue it.
