War Memorial cache #392 We will remember them ~ Greenhead
The memorial, which was Unveiled 13th November 1920, is a Runic cross approx. 20 feet high (5m) overall height on tall slender tapering shaft with boss at the crossing, on stepped sandstone base 298cm x 298cm.
The dedication for 1914-18 is in a sunken panel on the front, with the names in a single column on each of the two sides
This is a multi-cache and can be found a short distance away at N 54° 58.ABC W 002° 32.DEF by working out the coordinates from the clues below. Unfortunately the memorial is in desperate need of restoration making some of the words hard to read.
I need to rethink this cache, in the meantime you can research the answers here http://www.newmp.org.uk/detail.php?contentId=7293
